A Spiritual Journey Through Berlin: Uncovering God's Name and JW Resilience
Service Description
*A Spiritual Journey Through Berlin: Uncovering God's Name and JW Resilience* Berlin, the vibrant capital of Germany, is a city steeped in history, culture, and spirituality. Our unique sightseeing tour takes you beyond the typical landmarks, inviting you to explore hidden gems that reveal God's presence and the remarkable resilience of Jehovah's Witnesses during challenging times. Start at the oldest Building: As we stand before the oldest Building in Berlin, we notice an inscription: „JHWH. “ JW Underground Meetings: During the Nazi regime, JWs faced intense persecution due to their refusal to salute the flag or serve in the military. We visit an inconspicuous cellar where secret JW gatherings took place. Here, they studied the Bible, encouraged one another, and maintained their faith despite the risks. Checkpoint Charlie and Divine Protection: At the former border crossing between East and West Berlin, we reflect on the Cold War era. Both sides often targeted JWs for their neutrality. Yet, miraculously, many escaped imprisonment or execution. Their unwavering trust in God's protection sustained them. In this spiritual journey, we witness God's name inscribed in unexpected places and learn from the endurance of JWs who held fast to their beliefs. Berlin's streets tell stories of resilience, hope, and the triumph of faith over fear.
